Turkey & Goat Cheese Meatballs
15 mins prepServes 4
These Turkey & goat cheese meatballs are packed with veggies and full of flavor. An easy, gluten-free meal suitable for 6+ months and the whole family, with a dairy-free alternative available.
1. Add ground Turkey to a large bowl.
2. Dice all vegetables (white onion, red pepper, Bella mushrooms, and spinach) very small, then add them to the bowl with all remaining ingredients (gluten free panko breadcrumbs, egg, black pepper, and optional crumbled goat cheese).
3. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
4. Shape the mixture into small balls or a shape of your choice, placing them on a baking sheet. For babies, rolling the meatballs into an oblong shape can make them easier to hold.
5. Bake at 350F (175C) for 20-25 minutes.
Note: The author personally avoids dairy; they mixed the ingredients without goat cheese, rolled their portion of meatballs, then added goat cheese to the remaining mixture for the family's meatballs. If you have an allergy, omit goat cheese or use a vegan alternative.
